Oulart-the-Ballagh retained the Wexford SHC title with a comfortable victory over St. Martin's in what was a hugely disappointing final at Wexford Park.

Oulart-the-Ballagh 1-14
St. Martin's 0-6

Liam Dunne's charges won well, despite failing to play anywhere near their best against a limited St. Martin's outfit who managed just a single point from play. The first half was a forgettable affair with the champions taking a 0-4 to 0-1 lead into the break thanks to scores from Rory Jacob (two), Paul Roche and Nicky Kirwan.

Within four minutes of the restart, the game was ended as a contest when Garrett Sinnott pounced for the only goal after a Barry Lambert free had reduced the deficit to two points.

The champions went on to outscore their opponents by 0-10 to 0-3 in the closing 20 minutes with Shaun Murphy, David Redmond, Kirwan, Rory Jacob and substitute Stephen Doyle all getting in on the act.
