Liam Tolan RIP
Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Criostóir Ó Cuana has offered his sympathies to the family of Meath minor footballer Liam Tolan who died in a car accident on Saturday night last.
The talented Skryne clubman played for his county in their Leinster championship defeat to Offaly in Navan on Saturday before being involved in a road accident hours later.
The GAA President said: "On behalf of the Association I would like to extend my sincerest sympathies to the Tolan family on the tragic loss of Liam.
"He was a highly regarded young man with a bright future and he made an impression on a lot of people, most notably in his own club, at such a young age.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and playing colleagues at this difficult time."
