League results were misleading, Harte claims

Tyrone's attacking wing back Davy Harte
Davy Harte says people shouldn't read anything into Tyrone's NFL results.
The Red Hands were relegated to Division 2 after a disastrous campaign, but speaking ahead of Sunday's Ulster SFC quarter-final against Antrim, Harte said: "Our form in the league wasn't as bad as what our status is now.
"It was definitely patchy and a lot of times it was disjointed, but I think we learned a lot too, and a few of the younger players, the likes of Peter Harte and Kyle Coney, have come in and impressed.
"And there's a lot of others pushing for places, so there's a lot of healthy competition within the squad. I feel we still have the players and we have the squad in place to put that right."
The former All-Star half back continued: "We're hoping this year in the championship we can get a bit of a run as our league campaign was disappointing. I think we're the first Tyrone team in maybe 10 years to be relegated."
