London's Conor Beirne
London's Conor Beirne is hoping the Exiles can shock Roscommon in this year's Connacht SFC.
The teams collide at Ruislip in just over a week's time and Tir Chonaill Gaels clubman Beirne is plotting the downfall of his native county - in what would be London's first championship win in 33 years:
"There is a belief that we can do it. We feel we can give it a right good go," Beirne told the Irish Post.
"We know Roscommon will be very tough. They'll be well set for us.
"If you can just get that one big win, it'll send confidence through the roof, make players realise that these kind of games can be won.
"It's not that hard to win; it just takes a cool head and a bit of cuteness."
