Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy has added attackers Brian O'Meara from Kilruane McDonaghs and Moneygall's Paddy Fanning to his squad ahead of the Munster SHC showdown with Cork on May 30.

Dual star O'Meara caught the eye during Waterford IT's run to this year's Fitzgibbon Cup final, while he also featured for the Tipp under 21 footballers in their recent historic Munster championship success. Fanning has been called up on the back of some impressive performances for Moneygall in the North Tipp SHC.

Meanwhile, Tipperary football captain Robbie Costigan is expected to recover from a leg injury in time for Sunday week's Munster SFC opener against Kerry. Assuming he is passed fit, manager John Evans will have a full strength squad to pick from for the meeting with the All-Ireland champions. Tweet
