All Star forward Joe Canning will start his first game of the NHL for Galway this season when the Tribesmen welcome Dublin to Pearse Stadium this Sunday.

The Portumna ace has been named at right half-forward and is one of a number of changes manager Joe McIntyre had made since the win away to Kilkenny last weekend.

Colm Callanan takes over in goal from the injured James Skehill, who suffered a concussion after clashing with Aidan Fogarty in the win over the Cats, while Tadgh Og O'Regan is returned to centre-back.

After coming on as a substitute and scoring two goals at Nowlan Park last weekend, Iarla Tannian is rewarded with a starting berth at full-forward.
