Portumna Seven back on board
April 01, 2010

Galway and Portumna's Eoin Lynch
All seven Portumna clubmen have returned to the Galway senior hurling panel.
Fresh from his side's stunning defeat of Kilkenny last weekend, Galway boss John McIntyre will have the full Port' contingent at his disposal for Sunday's visit of Dublin to Pearse Stadium.
Considering that his team performed heroics in Nowlan Park on Sunday last, the manager is now in the envious position of boasting an embarrassement of riches.
The Tribesmen remain on course for a place in this year's league final. The Canning brothers Joe and Ollie will be pushing hard for starting places against the Dubs, as will Niall Hayes, Eoin Lynch and Andrew Smith.
The Portumna players were all given a fortnight off following their run to the St Patrick's Day All-Ireland club hurling championship final, wherein their three-in-a-row bid was thwarted by Ballyhale Shamrocks.
