Blackrock's Kevin Palmer gets in his shot as Naomh Colum Cilles's Joe O'Neill closes in during the All Ireland JHC Club Final at Croke Park
Blackrock (Limerick) 1-18
Naomh Colum Cille (Tyrone) 0-9
Munster champions Blackrock claimed a comfortable victory over Tyrone's Naomh Colum Cille to take the All-Ireland club junior hurling championship crown at Croke Park last night.
The winners got off to the ideal start in this decider with ace forward Ritchie McCarthy firing over a couple of early points to settle them into the game before Aidan Murphy hit the game's only goal on 13 minutes.
Naomh Colum Cille responded with scores from Niall O'Neill and Ryan O'Neill, but Ulster's finest would still trail their southern counterparts by 1-9 to 0-4 at the interval.
In the second-half, Blackrock had started where they left off with McCarthy pointing some accurate scores which was always going to be enough, as their opponents didn't have the same fire power to prevent the Treaty men from storming to the title.
