Waterford unveil new 3 jersey

As part of this major sponsorship agreement, 3 and Waterford GAA officially unveiled the new 2010 jersey at Croke Park today.
Hurling stars including Dan Shanahan, Eoin Kelly and Michael 'Brick' Walsh were on hand to showcase the new strip and discuss Waterford's prospects as the 2010 season begins. Hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald, Waterford GAA Chairman Tom Cunningham and Robert Finnegan, CEO, 3 as well as Maurice O'Gorman, Stephen Cunningham and Mick Ahearne from the Waterford Senior Football team alongside their new manager John Owens were also in attendance.
The full sponsorship of Waterford GAA covers both the hurling and football codes and includes all grades from minor to senior inter-county teams over the next two years. As part of the sponsorship agreement, the new-look Waterford jersey was unveiled displaying the 3 logo.
"Waterford County Board are delighted to be able to announce this sponsorship deal with 3," said Tim O'Keeffe, County Secretary, Waterford County Board said: As Ireland's fastest growing mobile network 3 will bring a new dynamic to the promotion of Waterford GAA and Hurling in particular. The unique 3 logo will adorn all our county jerseys from minor to senior in both Hurling and Football. We are looking forward to working with our new partners and we have no doubt that our clubs and supporters will fully support 3 and their product range."
Robert Finnegan, CEO of 3 welcomed the news: "We are delighted to announce this major new sponsorship and unveil the new Waterford GAA shirt. 3 is building a reputation as the brand of choice for Ireland's sports fans and this latest GAA sponsorship is a source of great pride, not only for 3 but myself as a Waterford man. 3 is now officially the biggest fan of Waterford Football and Hurling and we're looking forward to supporting the teams both on and off the pitch.
