ULSTER BANK SIGERSON AND FITZGIBBON CUP DRAWS TAKE PLACE AT CROKE PARK Ulster Bank hosted some of the country's most talented GAA students in Croke Park as the 2010 draw for the Higher Education Championships unfolded. Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and University College Cork (UCC) will defend their respective Ulster Bank Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cup crowns in the highly anticipated 2010 Championships. Over 100 teams will battle it out in all divisions for a place at the finals weekend hosted by NUI Maynooth (football) and NUI Galway (hurling). Last year's Ulster Bank Higher Education Championships proved a huge success with Cork bringing the top two titles back to the Rebel County. In football Cork I.T. captured their first Ulster Bank Sigerson Cup and on home-soil to boot, with a five-point final victory over D.I.T. St PatÄôs Drumcondra claimed the Ulster Bank Trench Cup title with a 0-12 to 0-7 win over Mary Immaculate, Limerick; Colaiste Mhuire Marino claimed Corn na Mac Leinn honours, while North West Regional College were Further Education Champions.
