Slevins Coaches SHAC - Round 5

 

Lough Lene Gaels will end it's participation in the Divisional phase of the Slevins Coaches Senior A Hurling Championship by playing a Round 5 match on Sunday September 14th.

That Round 5 match is, Lough Lene Gaels v Castlepollard and is scheduled to have a match starting time of 3.45pm. Support for Lough Lene Gaels in this Round 5 fixture versus the 14 times Westmeath SHAC title winners will be very sincerely welcomed. The Match venue remained to be confirmed at the time of forwarding this article for the purpose of publication.

 

Lotto 

 

The numbers drawn were 6, 11, 27 and 28 at a lotto draw for a jackpot of E4000, held at the Decotek Park Clubhouse on Monday evening September 1st. The jackpot was not won. There was just one Match 3 winner who won E100, namely Shane Murtagh c/o Online ticket. On Monday evening September 15th at 7pm, a lotto draw for a jackpot of E4000 will take place at the Decotek Park Clubhouse Collinstown.

 

Sincere Sympathy 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere sympathy to the family of Theresa Shaw, Collinstown, who died on Sunday August 17th 2025. RIP.

Mrs Shaw was predeceased by her husband Philip (Phil) in February 2023, who was a serving President of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club at the time of his death. Theresa and Philip's sons, Matt, Kieran and Paul, are all past players of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club. Furthermore Matt also served Lough Lene Gaels Hurling in the office of Secretary and thereafter in the office of Chairman.
