Played at TEG Cusack Park on Saturday August 16th. Lough Lene Gaels 1.09 Raharney 1.06, was the match scoreline at half time. Aaron Kennedy scored the first half goal for Lough Lene Gaels. The Lough Lene Gaels second half goal was scored by Marcus Kennedy, after a very good hurley struck pass by Derek McNicholas. Warm and sincere congratulations to the Lough Lene Gaels squad of players and team management on this result versus the 15 times Westmeath SHAC title winners and the 2025 ACHL D1 title winners. The same levels of application, as regards the brilliant attitude and team performance of Lough Lene Gaels in this Slevins Coaches SHAC Round 3 fixture v Raharney must also be present, and especially in use in the two remaining scheduled Divisional fixtures of the Slevins Coaches SHAC yet to be played by Lough Lene Gaels, namely versus Castlepollard, 14 times winners of the Westmeath SHAC, and Clonkill the 17 times Westmeath SHAC title winners.

Sincere Sympathy
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere condolences to the father, brother, sister, and extended family members of Francis (Frank) Devine, Moretown, Castlepollard, who died on Monday August 4th.
A past player of Castlepollard Hurling Club, Mr Devine captained Westmeath to win the 1991 All Ireland U16 Hurling championship competition. RIP
