Under 16 girls match Report.
Our under 16 girls travelled to Garrycastle on Tuesday evening last 13/5/25 for Round 5 of Division 1.
In what was a difficult challenge the girls they really got stuck in. It was Garrycastle who started the brighter kicking some lovely scores, but Ballycomoyle rallied and started some fine movements, ending in good scoring opportunities. A pivotal moment in the first half saw Ballycomoyle reduced to 14 with a yellow card, and with the heat it was difficult. Ballycomoyle were 6 points down at Halftime.
Onto 2nd half and Garrycastle were dominant, but our ladies' never gave up, tirelessly working as a team Garrycastle were able to bring on many substitutes which really made the difference. Unfortunately not to be for our girls. We go again with a rescheduled fixture vs Athlone.
Thanks to parents for making the long track to Garrycastle. Also many thanks to Garrycastle for supplying our girls with ice pops at the end of the match.
Underage
Ballycomoyle Underage Report.
Under 12 Boys.
Our under 12 boys had two outings again this weekend. This is a great group of boys who are showing serious potential for the future. All the boys got their chance to play and the skill they are playing with is unreal. These are great team players who work together and are a pleasure to watch. Once again we had two outstanding performances and the coaches are very proud of the boys and their abilities. Thanks to the parents who travelled to kilbeggan and also for their support on home grounds also.
