U14 Camogie Championship - Round 1

Monday May 12th

Lough Lene Gaels v Drumraney

Match Venue - Decotek Park Collinstown.

Lough Lene Gaels had a difficult start to  participation in the 2025 U14 Camogie Championship, versus a very good Drumraney team in a Round1 fixture.

The concession of an early goal spelt out to Lough Lene Gaels in a straightforward and abrupt manner that Drumraney had not made the journey to North Westmeath based entirely on the basis of just a scenic tour.

Lough Lene Gaels quickly responded by a scoring a goal themselves. Lough Lene Gaels has possession of the match lead at half time. The ability to obtain scores at crucial moments of play in the second half enabled Lough Lene Gaels to win this Round 1 fixture, versus a Drumraney team that itself will be a major contender for the winning of this competition, regardless of what was actually the outcome of this Round 1 fixture!
