2025 Club Camogie season 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club requests that it's players please contact their respective management teams to confirm commencement of training and coaching for the 2025 club Camogie Playing season.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club warmly and sincerely Congratulates Sheila Devine on receiving an award that acknowledges her enlightened, magnificent and very positive contribution to the sport of Camogie in Westmeath. 

In the same context, Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club also warmly and sincerely congratulates John Weir (Raharney Camogie Club) and Marie Nea (Clonkill Camogie Club) on each receiving an award that acknowledges their own enlightened, magnificent and very positive contributions to the sport of Camogie in Westmeath.

Sincere Condolences 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to Elaine Masterson, the esteemed Juvenile and Underage category Secretary of Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, and the O'Doherty family of Mullagh, County Clare, bereaved on Saturday February 15th by the death of Elaine's mother, Margaret O'Doherty (nee Meaney), Cloonadrum House, Mullagh, County Clare. RIP.

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club also extends its sincere condolences to the wife and family of Kevin Orme Snr, Crookedwood who died on Wednesday March 12th. RIP.

Mr Orme's daughter Caroline Murtagh, and her own daughters Karen McNicholas and Michelle Murtagh, have each generously and superbly made very positive contributions to Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club across the course of many years, and  covering a wide variety of roles in the process.
