Family table quiz
Congratulations to the McDonnell family on winning our family quiz in St James' Hall last Friday night.
There was a great turnout for the event which coincided with the start of the new season for our underage players. Thanks to all the families who took part, and to TP and Geraldine O’Gorman for their smooth running of the quiz.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 1, 10, 17 and 27. The jackpot wasn’t won. The Match 3 winners were Ger Linnane Jnr, Eithne Kelly and Noeleen Costello.
This week’s jackpot is €14,200. Make sure to buy tickets online or at Centra, Mace and Whelan’s. Thank you for your continued support.
The late Frank Ryan
Deepest sympathy is extended to the Ryan family on Frank's passing last weekend.
Late of Abbeybrook and formerly Cloneyglin, Frank was a great character who won an U16FC medal with us in his youth. He will be missed around the town. May he rest in peace.
