Social function/Medals Presentation Event

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club acknowledges with profound and sincere gratitude the following, in the context of the Social function/Presentation of medals and awards event, that took place at Castle Varagh Hotel, Castlepollard on Friday night January 10th 2025:

 

(1) Westmeath and Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club player Thomas Doyle, for both his attendance and presenting medals.

(2) Family members of the players who were presented with medals, for their attendance.

 

(3) Members of the public/club supporters, aside from persons previously indentified in (2) for their attendance.

 

(4) The management and staff of Castle Varagh Hotel, for having the function room where this Social function/Presentation of medals and awards event took place available, and the beautiful refreshments that were served to everyone in attendance.

 

(5) Photographers, representing the Westmeath Examiner and the Westmeath Topic newspapers for their attendance, who took superb top quality photographs of the recipients of various medals and awards, as those recipients received those same medals and awards.

 

(6) Westmeath Camogie Board Chairperson Karen Goldrick, who left another Camogie related meeting to attend this Social function/Presentation of medals and awards event.

 

(7) Brendan Higgins and Martin Williams, Chairman and Secretary respectively of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club for their attendance.

 

(8) All persons involved with, and associated with, the planning and organising of this Social function/Presentation of medals and awards event.

 

For the record, Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club Chairman Martin Griffin, was the MC for this Social function/Presentation of medals and awards event.

All persons associated with Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, are asked to please note that a lotto draw for a jackpot of E3600, the first such lotto draw of 2025, takes place at Collinstown's Decotek Park Clubhouse on Monday January 20th at 7pm.
