Social Function/Presentation of medals
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is holding a social function at Castle Varagh Hotel Castlepollard, on Friday night of this week, January 10th.
Medals will be presented to those players of Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club that in 2024 won for their club, the following competitions as stated hereafter:
Westmeath Minor Camogie Championship Division 2 Cup competition,
Westmeath Division 1 U14 Camogie Championship Division 1 Cup competition.
Westmeath Division 1 U12 Camogie Mini League competition.
A number of awards will be also made to among others, the respective team managements of those aforementioned panels of players. This Social function is timed to start at 7.30pm. Please attend and show your support, respect and admiration for so many super players of the sport of Camogie, and the team management personnel who inspired those players to achieve their great successes.
Lotto Information
Please note that the next lotto draw, for a jackpot of E3600, takes place at Decotek Park Clubhouse, Collinstown on Monday Night January 20th at 7pm. This is the first lotto draw of 2025. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club asks for and requests all support for this lotto draw.
Irish Life Every Steps Counts 2025
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, alongside Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, is a joint participant in the 2025 Irish Life Every Step Counts event, which starts on Wednesday of this week, January 8th, concluding on Wednesday February 12th. Those persons who are owners of iPhones are requested to tap on the Irish Life App, then on the Every Step Counts page on that App, tap thereafter on the Leinster GAA section, and please enter to participate on behalf of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling & Camogie clubs. Clothing Collection
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club continues to have ongoing for fundraising purposes, a Clothing collection. Donations of items of clothing will be very sincerely welcomed and very much appreciated.
