Ladies football.

Our Minor ladies travelled to St Lomans on Sunday last 10/11/24 in one of the biggest challenges the girls have had.

St Lomans took command from the throw in scoring quickly but once Ballycomoyle settled Lomans knew they were in for a test. Ballycomoyle themselves hit some lovely scores and great inter play.

Into the 2nd half and it was Ballycomoyle who started the stronger pinning St Lomans in there own half, hitting 1-03 without reply. However it was the St Lomans quick counter attacks that had them gain advantage overall.

In the clubs first outing in a division 1 minor championship the girls done themselves and the club proud. A semi final appearance not to be underestimated.

We regroup now for the winter and get going again in 2025,

We held our Club Lotto draw on Monday night last 4/11/24 in Pat Burke's Bar and lounge, Coole. Unfortunately, the under 20 football championship fixture between St Michaels v Garrycastle in finea fixed for Sunday last 9/11/24 was call off as Garrycastle couldn't field.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Condolences 

We send our sincere sympathy to the Duffy family on the very sad passing of Adrian Duffy, Drumcree, Collinstown, Co.Westmeath, November 3rd 2024, suddenly. 

Sadly missed by his parents Stephen and Annette, his sisters Caroline and Ruth, brothers in law Martin and Pearse, nieces Emma and Emily and nephew Ben, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives , neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Adrian's gentle soul. Rest in Peace. Amen
