Adrian Duffy 1967 - 2024
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club expresses its profound and sincere sadness and regret, as a consequence of the death of Adrian Duffy, which took place on Sunday November 3rd 2024. Adrian was an outstanding past player of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club from approximately 1980 to 1992 inclusive.
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club was represented by a guard of honour when Adrian's Funeral Cortege arrived at St Mary's Church, Collinstown on Tuesday evening, November 5th. The Club was also represented at Adrian's Funeral Mass on Wednesday November 6th, and thereafter at St Mary's Cemetery, Collinstown, where Adrian, who represented Westmeath in various grades of underage and juvenile competitive Hurling, was laid to rest alongside his brother Richard (1970 - 1995) who also gave Lough Lene Gaels Hurling club outstanding service as a player.
Lough Lene Gaels extends its sincere condolences to Adrian's parents Stephen and Annette, sisters Caroline and Ruth, brothers in law Martin and Pearse, nieces Emma and Emily, nephew Ben, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relations, neighbours and friends.

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere congratulations to Brownstown Hurling Club on winning a first Round fixture in the Leinster Club junior Hurling Championship in Carlow versus Carlow's Burren Rangers on.a 0.19 to 1.12 match result last Saturday November 9th. Best wishes to Brownstown v Louth's St Fechins at Drogheda next Saturday, November 16th.
Best wishes to Castletown Geoghegan v Kilkenny's Thomastown in a Leinster Club SHC match at TEG Cusack Park next Sunday November 17th.
