Lough Lene Gaels went down to defeat in a semi final fixture of the David Smyth Catering Senior B Camogie Championship, played at Loughegar on Sunday October 13th. 

At half time, Lough Lene Gaels 1.07 (10) Castletown Geoghegan 3.02 (11), was the match scoreline. 

As a consequence of the result of ,this fixture, the 2024 playing season for Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, has now concluded.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is drawn to play St Munnas Camogie Club in a semi final fixture of the Minor B Camogie Championship. Players are requested to please confirm all the appropriate information as regards the details of this semi final fixture, by contacting the team management.

Please note that the next lotto draw takes place at the Decotek Park Clubhouse on Monday evening, October 28th at 7.30pm.

 

U12/U10 News

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club played their Kilcormac Killoughey Camogie Club counterparts in entertaining U12 and U10 matches at Decotek Park on Saturday October 12th. 

Both clubs between them, had in the region of 90 players available for playing duty in both matches. Following the completion of both matches, players and adults alike, dined at Collinstown Hall. 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere gratitude to Kilcormac Killoughey Camogie Club, for making the long journey northwards to play both matches, and to all persons, whose contributions made the purpose of this Camogie jamboree the great success that it was.
