Our under 16 ladies kick of their first round of their championship on Tuesday last 9/7/24 in awful wet conditions, Playing a very strong Athlone side.

Second half and some substitutions and positional changes saw our ladies come out fighting, Definitely the battle was on, The Ballycomoyle ladies played a lot better in the second half resulting in 2 goals, but unfortunately it wasn't our evening. Best of luck to Athlone in the of rest Championship. Our girls are still well in contention for a great run in this year's under 16 championship. Keep it going girls

St Michael's underage.

Report. Coralstown Kinnegad v St Michael's

10/7/24

Under14 Division 2 football championship .

Coralstown Kinnegad v St Michaels.

St Michael's made the journey to Kinnegad for the first round of the under 14 Division 2 football championship campaign on a dry and breezy evening. Missing 5 players from the league final last month it was an opportunity for some younger players to make an impression. Kinnegad proved too strong and played excellent football to come away with the points, Michael's played well and never dropped the heads despite being on the back foot most of the game. This experience will prove valuable in later rounds.

A bye in round 2 will bring us into August 8th when Killucan come to Ballycomoyle for round 3.

Our under 11 Boys Croke Park Experience Day 8/7/24.

On Monday the 8th July 24 on a bright sunny day our under 11 boys got the ultimate experience of playing in our national stadium, croke park. They had the privilege of coming from the dressing rooms, up the tunnel and onto the pitch. They played a Wicklow team and the crowd were treated to a great game of football. We saw great team work from all our young boys and the future is definitely bright for Ballycomoyle.

After the children got to raise the trophy at the presentation area they were all presented with a jersey as a keep safe to remember the day. We would like to thank all involved in the day and thanks to the National Go Games for giving the boys the opportunity to play in Croke Park. A day they won’t forget!
