Regional Feile na nGael Camogie Competition 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere best wishes to its U15 panel of  players and team management, who will participate in a Division 2 Regional Feile na nGael Camogie Competition at Raharney next Saturday, June 22nd. 

Lough Lene Gaels will play Group fixtures in next Saturday's Competition, versus St Lawrences (Kildare), Swatragh (Derry) and Portlaw (Waterford).

 

U12 News

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club played a U12 fixture at Decotek Park Collinstown on Wednesday evening, June 12th. The fixture was, Lough Lene Gaels v Delvin. 

This was the fourth fixture in the U12 Age Category played by Lough Lene Gaels, a Round 4 fixture won by Lough Lene Gaels.

 

Westmeath Poc Fada Camogie competition

 

Westmeath Camogie Board held its 2024 Camogie Poc Fada competition on Saturday June 15th at the Hill of Uisneach. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club was represented by Kelly Dobson and Sionainn McCormack in the Senior and U16 Poc Fada competitions respectively. 

Kelly Dobson was placed in third place in the Senior Poc Fada Camogie competition. Sionainn McCormack won the U16 Poc Fada Camogie competition. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere and warm congratulations to Sionainn on winning the U16 Poc Fada competition, and to Kelly on finishing in third place in the Senior Poc Fada Camogie competition.

 

All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club Congratulates Westmeath, its player representative Caoimhe McCrossan, and the Westmeath team management, on a 1.16 to 2.08 victory versus Wexford in a Round 2 Divisional phase fixture of the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship. 

That Round 2 fixture was played in Wexford at the Buffers Alley Hurling and Camogie Clubs grounds on Saturday afternoon June 8th.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere best wishes to the aforementioned for a Round 3 fixture of the same competition, Westmeath v Galway, scheduled to be played at a Galway venue, possibly at Pearse Stadium in Galway City, next Saturday, June 22nd, with a scheduled 2pm match starting time.

Westmeath U14 Camogie Panel

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere congratulations to the Westmeath U14 Camogie panel of players, its own player representatives, and the Westmeath team management, on winning a Leinster U14 Camogie "Blitz style" Sheild competition. Westmeath defeated Carlow in the final of that Sheild competition, played on Saturday June 15th at Portlaoise.

Westmeath had two panels of players, namely Westmeath Maroons and Westmeath Whites, participating in the said U14 Leinster Camogie "Blitz style" Sheild competition, played across three Divisions.
