All Ireland SHC Tier 2 - McDonagh Cup competition 

 

Westmeath's participation in the All Ireland SHC Tier 2 - McDonagh Cup competition for 2024, concluded with a Round 5 win v Laois on a 2.26 to 0.16 match result scoreline, played at TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar on Saturday May 25th. 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club was represented on the Westmeath starting XV by Noel Conaty, Thomas Doyle (0.01),and David Williams (0.11). A fourth player of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, Micheal Daly, was introduced on to the Westmeath XV in the capacity of a substitute.

Venue Fr O'Reilly Memorial Park, Archerstown.

Brownstown v Lough Lene Gaels.

Match starting time 7.30pm.

Numbers drawn at a lotto draw, which took place at Collinstown Hall on Sunday night 26.05.2024, for a €2200 jackpot were, 5, 12, 14 and 23. No jackpot winner. Six Match 3 winners were, Fergal Moran, Liam Buckley, Seamus Ward, Leah O'Brien, Richard Doyne and David Kelly. On next Sunday night, 09.06.2024, a lotto draw, for a jackpot of €2300, takes place at Collinstown Hall at 9.15pm.
