Land Purchase

The announcement that Mullingar Shamrocks had purchased 20 acres of land for the development of additional facilities was the big news item of the week.

Once again we would like to thank Ray Smyth and Dónal O’Donoghue for their work in making it all possible; Kevin and Helen Lynch for their willingness to help out the club by agreeing to the sale of the land and to our Club Chairperson, David Nohilly and Secretary, Garrett Doyle for their work to secure the purchase.  

Operation Transformation and the Goal Mile

Volunteerism in Mullingar Shamrocks takes on many forms outside of the normal coaching, team management and administrative duties. We thank Garrett Doyle, Ritchie Daly, Karen and Frank Hegarty, and Margaret Donohoe for their shovel and spade work on Saturday and Sunday in upgrading the walking track and having it in presentable condition.   The Goal Mile takes place  on Christmas Day from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. Drop down to Springfield  and support a good cause. Brian Fagan and Ruth Illingworth will be there to accept your contribution. 

Mullingar Shamrocks Festive Family Fundraiser 2023

It’s that time of the year when we embark upon what is the FIRST fundraising event of the year and we ask you to take some exercise and donate to the Club to mark the occasion.

On the 26, 27 and 28 December, you will receive messages about our Annual Festive Family Fundraiser, what has been an important fundraiser for the club over the past few years. 

.So we ask you to walk, run, cycle or take whatever exercise you wish and make a donation to Mullingar Shamrocks Go Fund Me page. You will find the links in our social media platforms. Wear your club colours, email the pictures to [email protected] and be in with a chance of winning free gym membership and other prizes.
