Ballycomoyle Ladies.

Our minor ladies travelled to Milltown to take on the home side in the seventh round of this year's minor football championship Division 2.

The conditions weren't great but both teams got on with it to serve a great first half of football.

As the half time whistle sounded the score line read Ballycomoyle 2-07

Milltown 3-02 only 2pts seperating the two teams going into the second half. Half way into the second half Milltown look as they were getting on top but this Ballycomoyle minor team never gave up and were up by 3 going into final seconds of the match but it was Milltown that had the final say with a goal .

To leave the final score

Ballycomoyle 3-12. 21pts

Milltown 6-03.  21pts

A Draw match.

This is good enough to put the Ballycomoyle minor ladies into a Division 2 Semi final.

Congratulations girls and management team ye truly deserve this Semi Final.

Going to Press. There is no word when the Semi final is fixed for.

Scór

All Ireland Final Saturday 18/11/23

Well done to our Ballad Group who produced an excellent performance in last Saturdays All-Ireland final. In what was a very tight competition the girls were unfortunate not to have claimed victory and had to give way to the group from Galway.

We are so proud of the girls to win the County title then to go on and win the Leinster title.

And on Saturday last 18/11/23 in the All Ireland Final what a fantastic performance Girls. There is definitely an All Ireland Senior title in ye please God next year.

To our Culture and Language officer Catherine Daly. Thank you so much for all your hard work through the year. Without you none of this would happen.
