Healthy Club: Gold Standard
With all the excitement of winning the County Minor title and the fun and games of the Quid Game we held over the good news about our Healthy Club status which was confirmed recently at a function held in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise.
We are the only club in Westmeath to achieve the Gold Award and we say thank you to everyone who has participated and supported the healthy club activities. There is really no need to say why we reached the Gold Standard but we will say so anyway. It is due to the untiring efforts of our Healthy Club and Green Club officer Joan Ormsby. Well done Joan you are a wonderful ambassador and worker for the club.
If anyone ideas and want to get involved in the Mullingar Shamrocks GAA healthy club initiative please don’t hesitate to contact Joan or any other committee member.
All new ideas and initiatives welcome
Well done to Milltown G.A.A Club Loughnavalley GFC and The Downs GAA Club on receiving their awards.
