A strong determined performance from Cill Òige saw them progress to the U17 County D3 Final in next few weeks.

Under excellent conditions in Castledaly both teams showed skill and determination but

Cill Oige took their scoring chances at every opportunity and after four thunderous shots almost defeated the goal netting the result was certain.

Kilbeggan battled from first minute to the last but Cill Oige defence were fierce in restricting their scoring opportunities. The winners midfield duo fielded high and cleanly and used possession wisely, giving their on-form forward team mates opportunity to run on goals and take points from various angles.

Well done to a well trained team and their trainers and mentors on reaching their County Final, and to their family and friends and supporters who follow their journey this year.
