Clonkill Hurling Club extends its deepest sympathy to the following families on their recent bereavements:

The Farrell Family Lynn Road, Mullingar on the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Farrell may she rest in peace.

The Lawlor & Keogh Family Killucan & Cloughan on the death of Johnny may he rest in peace

 

Walking Track

Our Walk Track is open, and the lights will be on every evening during the Autumn & Winter Months.

All fully paid-up members of the Club are welcome to use facilities.  Please ensure to walk in an anti-clockwise direction and observe social distancing.

Dogs are not permitted on track.

Loughegar Community Playground

With a good spell of weather currently it is great to see so many young children use the playground and enjoy themselves, I am sure it is a nice treat for some kids as the return back to school these days and get into it after a hard day at the books

Congratulations

Congratulations to James McCormack and his Wife Samantha on the birth of their baby girl Poppy.  James and his wife now reside in Canada but I sure his mother Patricia and his Grandparents Betty and Paddy are looking forward to meeting the new addition to the family.

Congratulations stay safe and hopefully we might get to see you all soon.

Irish Life Every Step Counts Challenge

 

Thank you to the many people that took part in the Irish Life Every Step Counts Challenge.  We now qualify for the draw for some great prizes.

 

The Westmeath Movathon Lake County Challenge

Westmeath County Board are calling on all Westmeath Gaels, at home and abroad to take part in the Lake County Movathon Challenge to help raise vital funds to help in the refurbishment of TEG Cusack Park.

For all GAA lovers that are missing their games and wishing for a return to TEG Cusack Park, please support this Fundraiser.

Remember every Euro counts and what better feeling will it be to return to the first game whether Junior, Intermediate, Senior, Football Hurling or Camogie in TEG Cusack and know that you played a part in giving the place a face lift.
