Clothes Collection

St. Malachys in conjunction with Castletown Camogie Club held their clothes collection at our club grounds last week. We thank everyone who dropped off bags of clothing over the last few months and made this such a successful fundraiser. The clubs will be organising another collection early in the new year and we ask everyone to store any unwanted bags of clothing until the new date is announced.

Book Launch

A book on the history of all GAA activities in the area including hurling, football, camogie and Scor is ready to go to print.

Its proposed to sell a limited number of hard backed copies of the book at €70 per copy which will also entitle the purchaser to have their name on the patrons page. There will also be soft back books available at €30 each.

It is hoped to pre sell as many books as possible in order to cover printing costs so we would encourage anyone interested in purchasing either book to contact the following book committee members, Dermot Garvin 08636402864, Pat Garvin 0868093979, Sean Keegan 0868500719, Eamonn Clarke 0872564397, Ciaran Kirby 0868271179 as soon as possible.

We are delighted to announce that our O'Neills online shop is proving such a huge success. We have a fantastic range of different club crested items on the shop, which you can also personalise and order to fit. To find our site simply go to the O'Neills website and select the Clubs and Education tab, from there enter St. Malachys and select St.Malachys GFC Westmeath. Condolences

We extend our deepest sympathy to the Tuite family Dysart on the passing of Tony last week. May he rest in peace.
