Then at the weekend the team travel out to Reading to take on St Anthonys. The exact date and time has yet to be confirmed, keep an eye on Twitter, etc for confirmation details.

As usual, make sure you check public transport is in use and for any likely traffic delays, etc and ensure everyone is at the venue nice and early for a proper preparation for the game.

Previous Matches:

Harlesden Harps kept their league campaign on track with another victory, this time over Naomh Padraig. An energetic, confident start saw us establish a strong foothold early on in the game. The scores were frequent throughout with goals saw uscoming from Padraig McGoldrick, Padraig Sloan, John Enright and the evergreen Noel Furlong to steer us home to victory on a final scoreline of Harps 82-124 Naomh Padraig Tir Chonaill Gaels01-108. Sterner challenges await for sure but it's good to test out the shooting boots now and again!

Harlesden Harps also played the semi-final of the Shiel Cup recently against St. Brendan's. As winners of the cup for the past two years this really has become a special competition for the Harps. A positive energetic start was rewarded with an early Ashley O Halloran goal. After scoring raids by both wing backs (Ryan Scullion & Jamie Somers) another goal from Dan Howlin gave us a commanding 2-07 to 0-05 half time lead. The team managed the play superbly in the second half with another well taken Ashley O Halloran goal seeing us to victory on a final scoreline of Harps 3-11 St. Brendan's 1-07. Roll on the final for a chance for the three-in-a-row!
