The much-delayed London SHC final between Robert Emmetts and Brothers Pearse will finally take place tomorrow in Ruislip (throw-in 12.30pm).
Newly-appointed London senior hurling manager Neil Rogers will be an interested spectator at the decider which was postponed twice due to a dispute over the eligibility of a Robert Emmetts player and led to Mayo champions Tooreen receiving a bye into last month’s Connacht Club IHC final.
Emmetts beat St Gabriel’s in the semi-final, but were thrown out following an objection. However, Emmetts were reinstated after a DRA hearing ruled in their favour last weekend.
The final was originally due to be played on October 15, but was called off at short notice.
