Longford and Lancashire scored their first wins in Division 3B of the Allianz Hurling League this afternoon at the expense of Warwickshire and Cavan, respectively.
Ronan Sheahan and Dan Crossan bagged the goals as Longford came away from Páirc na hÉireann with a 2-10 to 1-6 victory and handed Warwickshire their third defeat in the process.
In Abbottstown, goals were key as Lancashire triumphed over Cavan on a 3-11 to 0-14 scoreline.
Conor Kennedy (2) and Robin Spencer netted the majors for the Exiles as they condemned the Ollie Bellew’s men to their first loss of the campaign.
