eir Sport will provide comprehensive coverage of classic All-Ireland football and hurling games as part of its new archive feature - eir Sport Gold.

Subscribers to the Irish television sports channels are in for a treat this summer as over 100 classic All-Ireland finals, provincial championships and qualifiers games as far back as 1970's to recent years are set to be shown.

Even as far back as when Tipperary's Michael 'Babs' Keating played barefooted hurling at Croke Park in the first All-Ireland final to be broadcast in colour and the glory days of 'Heffo's Army and Micko in Kerry.

Clare's famous Munster SFC final victory over Kerry in 1992 is the first game on the GAA schedule - airing tonight on eir Sport 1 at 7pm and that's not all as the historic 1994 Connacht SFC final and legendary 1982 All-Ireland SFC final will follow!
