The AGM took place on Sun 7th February over Zoom with presentations made to the members by the outgoing Secretary Ciaran O’Hagan, Treasurer Peter McGrath and Chairperson Phillip Mc Court, on the Games, Culture, Activities and successes and challenges that 2020 brought for the club.

The floor was opened to the members for general discussion on both the on-field and off field development from 2020 and the additional challenges 2021 will bring.

The members duly re-appointed the Honorary President John McCann and the Vice-Presidents: Canon Benny Fee, Father John McCallion, Jackie Corr, Hughie Cushnahan, Pat Cushnahan, Geardie McAliskey, Mick McCann, Stephen McCourt, Joey McLernon, Kevin Quinn and Gerry Taggart.

Thank you to all of the outgoing Committee for their work in 2020 and for handing over a healthy club that we and our whole community are immensely proud of. The incoming Committee appointed was: Chairperson : Phillip Mc Court, Vice Chairperson: Thomas Quinn, Secretary : Ciaran O’Hagan, Assistant Secretary (Camogie) : Anna McCann & Niamh McErlean, PRO : Alicia McCann, Treasurer : TBC (Peter McGrath Interim), Registrar : Daniel Mc Grath, Cultural Officer : Bronagh Savage, Youth Officers : James Kennedy, Games Development : Kevin Coary County Board Rep : Petesie Kennedy, Health and Well-Being officer : Bruce Hunt, Development Officer : Brendan Quinn General Committee Aidan O’Hagan, Thomas Carney, Paddy Gervin, Sean Cullen, Ronan Devlin, Conor Kennedy, George Hanna, Aisling McCourt, Darragh Carney.

As per GAA Advice for Clubs and Counties, Club Games and Training are still not permitted and Derrylaughan Kevin Barry’s GAC grounds are closed.

The club are currently reviewing the practicability of the planned Club Black Tie 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Oct 23rd 2021 – further information to follow in due course.

Any budding PR-Óg’s within our club have the opportunity to take part in an training initiative for such supported in particular by the Camogies Association - the registration for the 2021 PR-Óg programme will close on 31st January 2021 and the application form can be completed here. This is an opportunity to help with the demands of social media imposed on the both the Club and County PRO’s so as to help promote Camogie (and Football) activities and provide timely updates on fixtures, teams, results, and other relevant information. This is where the role of social media within the sport is essential!

Lotto numbers drawn 7th February 2021 – 6, 13, 18 and 27. Theresa Crewe matched 3 numbers for £50. Next lotto draw is on 14th February at 9pm. Entry must be made online by 1pm on the 14th.
