Páirc Uí Rinn looks set to stage the Munster SFC semi-final between Cork and Kerry on May 7th

A club hurling championship game in Cork is to be replayed following a scoreboard blunder.

Cork CCC has declared the result of the IAHC Group 3 game between Aghada and Kildorrey null and void after the final score was shrouded in confusion. The referee had it as a draw, 1-22 to 2-19, but Aghada were adamant that they won and that a point from William Leahy at the end of the first half was wrongly attributed to Kildorrey, leaving them trailing by 1-11 to 0-8 instead of 1-10 to 0-9.

The replay will take place on Saturday, August 30 at Páirc Uí Rinn with free entry for spectators.

Last year, the result of the Cork JBHC semi-final between Kilbrittain and Aghabullogue was also scratched on appeal, with the latter winning the replay.
