Tipperary will play Galway in the All-Ireland senior hurling championship quarter-finals next weekend after blowing Laois away with a 3-32 to 0-18 victory in Portlaoise this afternoon.

Liam Cahill’s men never looked back from the moment Jason Forde hammered in their first goal after three minutes at Laois Hire O’Moore Park, where the visitors went on to hold a 1-17 to 0-12 lead at half-time.

Sean O'Farrell had the sliotar in the Laois net within two minutes of the restart and Forde would bag his second goal in the 39th minute to put a 15-point margin between the sides.

Mossy Keyes and Aaron Dunphy pulled back a couple of points for the Joe McDonagh Cup runners up, but it was the Premier men that cruised towards their date with the Tribesmen here as Joe Fogarty’s free rounded off their tally in injury-time.
