Loughmore-Castleiney will start the defence of their Tipperary senior hurling championship title against local rivals Drom-Inch following last night’s club championship draws in the Premier County.

The opening round of the 2025 Dan Breen Cup race will also see last year’s runners up Toomevara meeting Holycross/Ballycahill while Thurles Sarsfields take on Nenagh Éire Óg and 2023 winners Kiladangan face Clonoulty/Rossmore.

The opening round of the Tipperary SHC is set to commence on the weekend of July 26/27.

In the Tipperary senior football championship, holders Loughmore-Castleiney have been drawn against Killenaule in the opening round, with runners-up Clonmel Commercials set to face Ardfinnan in their first outing.
