GAA revenue increased by a whopping 19% in 2024 despite a 10% fall in attendances.
Croke Park was the main revenue stream as the Association saw its income increase from €112.1 million to €132 million, with an overall surplus of €6.3 million. GAA headquarters generated €41.44 million from hosting games, concerts and events which brought over 1.5 million people through the gates, providing a dividend of €16 million to Central Council.
The stadium hosted six concerts and a Leinster Champions Cup rugby semi-final along with its usual schedule of GAA games in what was its most lucrative year yet. This was due to the rise in ticket prices for the latter stages of the championship.
Broadcast rights, which includes GAAGO, generated a total of €13.27m, up from €12.5m in 2023.
