The first-ever Ulster club SHC game televised on RTÉ last night was an absolute classic which saw Slaughtneil prevail over Cushendall after extra-time at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.
In a contest that had everything, this incredible goal from Neil McManus stood out. With time almost up and Cushendall trailing by three points, the former Antrim sharpshooter went for broke with a shot from about 40 metres out and it somehow beat a wall of Slaughtneil defenders and ended up in the net to force extra-time.
