Killeshin’s Killian Roche and Aidan Corby of Clough-Ballacolla have been named as the respective Laois Inter-County Footballer and Hurler of Year for 2024.
They will be honoured at the annual Laois GAA Awards ceremony which takes place on Friday, November 29 at the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise. Roche is rewarded for his goalkeeping and place-kicking exploits during the O’Moore County’s successful Allianz Football League Division 4 campaign and their run to the Tailteann Cup final, while Corby starred for the hurlers in their march to the Joe McDonagh Cup final.
Meanwhile, the Senior Club Players of the Year are Portarlington's Rioghan Murphy (football) and Clough-Ballacolla's Lee Cleere (hurling).
