Mayo found Dublin’s net some 20 minutes into tonight’s Allianz Football League Division 1 clash at Croke Park.
Brilliant work and skill from Diarmuid O’Connor along the sideline sent Jack Carney through and the corner-forward’s low shot came off the post only to deflect in off the back of Dublin ‘keeper Evan Comerford.
The Connacht champions would goal again a little over 10 minutes later through Aiden Orme to go on and lead by 2-6 to 0-9 at half-time.
