Defending champions Clann Éireann’s title will be on the line when they face Madden Raparees in tomorrow night’s Armagh senior football championship semi-final at the Box-It Athletic Grounds (7.30pm).
The game kicks off a busy weekend of crunch club senior championship clashes, including the 11 county senior finals (nine football and two hurling) which are down for decision.
Ruairi Lavery’s Clann Éireann side are a win away from reaching what would be their third Armagh SFC final in five years while Madden are bidding to advance to their club’s first Gerry Fagan Cup decider since 1998.
The other SFC semi-final in the Orchard County sees 47-time champions Crossmaglen up against Cullyhanna on Saturday evening (6pm), with Cross’ bidding for a seventh county final appearance in eight years.
