Former Tyrone joint manager Feargal Logan has returned to management with Queen’s University Belfast’s Sigerson team.

Logan, who led Tyrone to All-Ireland SFC glory in 2021 alongside fellow co-manager Brian Dooher, will share the managerial duties at QUB with former Down defender Daniel McCartan.

Both men have previously captained Queen’s to Sigerson Cip glory during their playing days.

Logan and Dooher stepped down from their co-managerial posts with Red Hands in August 2024, with Logan having to take a break from a lot of his duties having suffered a stoke earlier in the year.

Now he and McCartan have been appointed to oversee Queen’s fortunes for the season ahead as they look to try and guide the Belfast college to first Sigerson Cup triumph since 2007.
