Errigal Ciaran defender Aidan McCrory says he hopes the Tyrone champions can put in a performance they are proud of in tomorrow’s All-Ireland club senior football championship final.
Enda McGinley’s men meet Dublin counterparts Cuala at Croke Park (3.40pm) where a first ever Andy Merrigan Cup success will be up for grabs for both sides.
Speaking to BBC Sport NI, McCrory says that the buzz has been huge within the parish leading up to the decider.
"You hope you can go out and put in a performance you are happy with and proud of," he said.
"After that you just have to accept what happens. If you can find some footage of the pitch in Armagh after the Ulster final or the pitch in Newbridge after the semi-final win and see all the people out there. Everyone was buzzing.
"To see the next step up from that would be just amazing."
On tomorrow’s opponents from the capital, he added: "You can look at opposition, but we've never played them, so you don't know and that's the beauty of it. You get a bit of looking at them, but you don't know what it feels like to be in against them and how they really play football, so we're hoping, we're living off hope."
