Kerry’s Graham Shine has been named as the new Clare intermediate ladies football manager.

The Listowel native, who is a qualified fitness instructor and previously managed both Kerry and Limerick, takes over from Wayne Freeman after working in the backroom team this year. He has been appointed for two years, with an option of a third.

“It’s an incredible honour for me to be appointed to the role of manager of the Clare LGFA Adult Team. I am absolutely thrilled to be given the chance to work with such a talented and driven group of players and can’t wait to take up the challenge of working hard and bringing future success to Clare Ladies,” said Shine, whose management will consist of Eoin Murray, David O’Brien, Emma O’Driscoll and Edel Conway.
