Kilmacud Crokes claimed their eighth Dublin senior hurling championship title with a convincing 2-17 to 0-12 victory over Cuala at Parnell Park tonight.

Ronan Hayes starred with 1-6 over the hour, while brother Brian dominated at midfield as Crokes secured their first crown since 2022. Captain Oisín O’Rorke also found the net in a decisive display.

Crokes led 1-11 to 0-6 at half-time, with Hayes scoring an early goal and Finnian Donohoe adding three points. Cuala struggled against the strong wind, relying heavily on frees from Donal O’Shea and Liam Murphy.

Cuala threatened briefly after the restart but O’Rorke’s second goal, created by Brian Hayes, restored Crokes’ control and further points sealed a comfortable victory for the Stillorgan side, who completed a perfect eight-win championship campaign.

They now face Carlow champions Mount Leinster Rangers in the Leinster club SHC quarter-finals on November 8th.
