The closing date for entering the 2024/25 inter-firms football and hurling championships – which begin next month – is tomorrow, Friday, October 11.
Despite flying under the radar, the inter-firms competition provides huge enjoyment for hundreds of company employees across the country each year. And contrary to general belief, the competition is taken very seriously by many teams, with county, provincial and All-Ireland titles at senior, intermediate and junior level being much-sought after prizes.
