Mickey Graham is set to make a return to inter-county management with Leitrim.

Leitrim GAA's Management Committee has recommended the former Cavan boss for a three-year term, subject to full county board approval. Graham will succeed Andy Moran after he had been assistant to the ex-Footballer of the Year last season.

Moran stepped down after three years in charge in June.

Graham managed his native Cavan from 2019 to '23, during which he guided them to their first Ulster SFC title in 27 years during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. He previously led Longford's Mullinalaghta to a famous Leinster Club SFC success in 2018.
