The new-look Walsh Park will host next Sunday's Waterford SHC final between 10-in-a-row chasing Ballygunner and De La Salle.
The city venue reopened to spectators for last Sunday's SHC semi-final between De La Salle and Roanmore following the completion of the first phase of work. The first phase cost €3.5million and saw the installation of 8,500 bucket seats. The second and third phases are expected to cost a combined €10 million and when fully completed, the city venue will have a capacity of 15,000 and will be able to stage Munster SHC games once again.
Armchair viewers will get a first glimpse of the revamped stadium when TG4 televises next Sunday's all-city hurling decider at 2.15pm.
